My rice pack is getting soiled and stained. How can I get it clean?
Answer: Use a clean cloth lightly moistened with mild diluted detergent. Gently wipe the soiled area until the stain is removed. Never submerge your Thermo-Hugz in water or other liquids. Allow to dry before using.

Sometimes my pack is hotter on one side than another. Why does this happen and how can I prevent it?
Answer: Individual microwave ovens vary in wattage and features. In microwave ovens with turntables, uneven heating is minimal. To promote even heating stop the microwave mid-cycle and shake the pack to evenly distribute the
heat. Resume the heating cycle and shake again. Always do the "touch test" to assure proper temperature before applying to the body.

Sometimes my pack feels moist on the outside after heating. Why is that?
Answer: The content of the pack is all natural rice that contains significant moisture in the form of water. The natural moisture produces a warm moist heat that enhances the soothing and relaxing effects of the pack. If
excessive moisture collects on the outside of your pack, cover the pack with a pillowcase or other layer of material to prevent burns. The amount of moisture in the rice will decrease over time with regular use.
